Multiple homes and vehicles in the Village of Westover in Dover were damaged in a shooting that occurred Monday evening just after 5. Police were called to East Broadstairs Place where they located about 40 spent shell casings in the roadway. Breakwater Tackle on the fishing pier at Cape Henlopen State Park said the rain cut down on the number of fishermen on the pier, but those who showed up caught spot on Fishbites and sheepshead on sand fleas or green crabs.
