MILWAUKEE — A pedestrian was hit while crossing the street on Milwaukee west side. Milwaukee Police say the 61-year-old pedestrian was crossing Highland Boulevard Friday evening around 8:30 p.m. when they were hit by a driver, who then fled the scene. La Crosse celebrated Irishfest this weekend. Plenty dressed in green, wore kilts, and took part in traditional activities at the southside festgrounds.
