Fayetteville police say two people face drug charges after officers found meth and fentanyl in a Quality Inn room.

Oak Hill City Manager Tyler Bragg, along with Kyle Hobbs, Nick Milam, P.J. Elder, Fayetteville city employee Mark Reed, Sonny Milam, Central Excavating owner John Legg, and Noah Miller all came together to help plate the bridge leading to the Fayette County Animal Shelter. The shelter says their work has created a temporary way for employees to safely move animals across the bridge on foot. #FayetteCounty #WOAY

"It's just like one after another. I think we're up to over 20-some calls just so far this month in Fayetteville. And with the way the storms have been this month, it gets to be taxing."

One of Fayetteville's own, who serves the community as town recorder and deputy county clerk, was recently acknowledged.
