The number of confirmed Screwworm cases in Texas has doubled. The USDA is confirming two more this morning. One involved a calf in La Salle County, which is close to the previous ones. The fourth, though, is hundreds of miles away in Andrews County, which is near the New Mexico border. The latest cases involve a calf in La Salle County, about 90 miles south of San Antonio and roughly 50 miles from the Mexican border, and a dog in Andrews County in West Texas near the New Mexico border, according to the U.S. Department of Agriculture.
