A Delaware County man will spend the next six-and-a-half years behind bars after, officials say, he was sentenced for his role in a scheme that saw checks from the U.S. Treasury stolen by former U.S. Postal Service employees before the stolen checks were resold online. On Friday morning, officials announced that Alexander Telewoda, 26, of Clifton Heights, was sentenced to 78 months’ incarceration and three years of supervised release, while being forced to pay restitution of $10.
