ALD Thermal Treatment will celebrate its 20th anniversary next month with an evening event at its 24th Street facility, honoring employees, customers, and civic leaders who've supported the company's growth. The celebration includes remarks, awards for longtime staff, a plant tour, and dinner. Sanilac County deputies are investigating a two-vehicle crash that sent one driver to the hospital. It happened Sunday afternoon around 4:15 at the intersection of Ubly and Deckerville Roads in Argyle Township, when a Mustang failed to stop at a stop sign and struck a trailer being hauled by a pickup truck loaded with off-road vehicles. The pickup's driver and passenger were unhurt, but the Mustang's driver was treated at the scene by EMS crews before being taken to Marlette Regional Hospital.
