FRANKFORT, Ky. (WSIP) – Crime across Kentucky declined in 2025, according to the annual Crime in Kentucky report released by the Kentucky State Police. JOHNSON COUNTY, Ky. (WSIP) – A Johnson County man has been arrested in connection with a fatal crash that occurred more than a year ago in Floyd County. Forty-two-year-old Joshua Conley of Boyd Branch in Paintsville is charged with vehicular homicide, DUI and driving on a DUI-suspended license. A bridge on KY 979 over Mud Creek near KY 3680 will close June 15 for replacement.  The Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says the closure at milepoint 11.36 will last through August, weather permitting. The bridge has been under a three-ton weight limit since 2024. Traffic will detour via KY 979 South, KY 122, and KY 3680.  Drivers are urged to plan ahead and use caution in the area.
