Thomas James Coleman, owner of Beaverdale Confections, was arrested and faces charges linked to an online child predator investigation, according to Newton police.

The Iowa Department of Corrections said nine staff members and 10 incarcerated individuals were evaluated and cleared following the incident.

The cause and nature of the exposure are under investigation.
