Milton, FL (NewsRadio 92.3) -- A Milton man is facing charges nearly ten months after a fatal hit-and-run on Old Bagdad Highway. Troopers say Jarod Christian Phelps fled the scene after his SUV struck and killed a female pedestrian back in November. Investigators later found the vehicle at his home and identified him as the driver. Phelps was arrested Tuesday while leaving work and booked into the Santa Rosa County Jail on charges of leaving the scene of a crash involving death.
