More than 600 homes were impacted by flooding within the Verde Valley Fire District.

11/5 Camp Verde says bottled drinking water remains available thanks to donations from Bashas and APS. Water can be found in the parking lot across from the town ramada on Hollamon Street. One case of water is being allowed per vehicle. The town continues to urge residents on private wells to have their water tested. The town’s water supply has been tested and is safe to drink.

11/5 The Yavapai County Board of Supervisors issued a proclamation Wednesday, offering free flood-related disposal at all county transfer stations for residential use only, including Camp Verde. Commercial use is prohibited. The free disposal will continue through November 20-th. This is being done to help residents clean up after the flooding. In addition, the county is waiving demolition permit fees for anyone who has a flood damaged structure to remove.

The Camp Verde Marshal's Office said up to six horses remain unaccounted for after the recent flooding.

11/4 Voters in Yavapai County Tuesday elected Marie Moore to the District-2 Supervisor’s seat. Bill Risen is the Bagdad/Yarnell Constable. Ed Cocchiola is the Justice of the Peace in Mayer. Justice of the Peace in Seligman went to Ben Emery. Camp Verde chose Gary Thompson as Mayor with Patricia Seybold, Tanner Bryson and Jackie Baker in the lead for 3-council seats. 11/3 The Camp Verde Marshal’s Office advises the public that Montezuma Castle Highway will remain closed until further notice from Hauser Farms to Camp Lincoln Road.
