8/25 Ash Fork Fire and DPS recently responded to a semi rollover crash on westbound I-40. Crews arrived to find a semi had rolled on to its side in the median and the driver had self-extricated and was uninjured. DPS questioned the driver and eventually arrested him for DUI. The driver claimed another vehicle cut him off and brake checked him, which made him lose control and crash.

8/20 Ash Fork Volunteer Fire Department responded to a single vehicle rollover crash, with a trapped driver, on I-40 Wednesday. Crews arrived to find a woman trapped in her vehicle. The woman had to be extricated from the vehicle, but she suffered no injuries. The crash was caused by an equipment loading ramp that fell off a trailer being towed on the interstate. The driver of the truck kept going and may not have known the trailer fell off.
8/07 It’s Day-18 of Yavapai Silent Witnesses Catch-22 Program and today a $1,000-cash reward is being offered for information leading to the arrest of Zachary Weatherbee. Weatherbee is wanted for 5-counts each of theft and burglary and 2-counts of criminal damage. His last known address was in Camp Verde and officials say he may be in Ash Fork.
