An Alice Vail Middle School student has been charged and detained after being found with a gun on campus Tuesday morning, according to the Tucson Police Department.

1:00 PM: Subject detained. All shelter in place orders have been lifted. No threat to the public. Additional information will be provided as it becomes available.
